TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The terms and conditions apply to sales made on Áldu AS web shop, by e-mail or phone calls. Áldu AS sells tours and reindeer products to consumers (over 18 years old), companies and organisations.

Please read the following terms and conditions before making a reservation. It is important to both parties that you understand this agreement in relation to your use of Áldu AS.

Payment

All bookings via Áldu AS web shop, by e-mails or phone calls are paid by card or Vipps. Customers may pay by cash in NOK or cards accepted by iZettle. iZettle Readers takes chip, PIN and contactless payments from all major credit and debit cards, as well as payments through Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The price includes the products or services listed on the web site or product card, or products made according to customers wishes. Any reservation of additional services is binding. For companies it is also possible to recieve an invoice, and Áldu AS will then send it after the tour is completed. In that case this must be agreed in advance.

After the customer has booked a tour from the web shop, the customer will recieve a booking confirmation, with booking information and terms and conditions, to the e-mail address provided by the customer. Booking by e-mail or phone calls, Áldu AS will send the booking confirmations, with booking information and terms and conditions by e-mail to the customer. If the customer does not receive the booking confirmation, the booking has not been registered. The customer must store the booking confirmation for possible later use (e.g. for insurance and liability matters). If the booking should fail, the customer must contact Áldu AS as soon as possible to correct the situation. Áldu AS cannot guarantee that the item will still be available for reservation.

Cancellations/Changes by you

In order to cancel or change your booking, you need to contact Áldu AS as soon as possible. If the trip is paid in advance, a full refund is provided for cancellations made 4 days before the trip. Cancellations made less then 4 days and until 48 hours before the trip, will be charged 50% of the price. No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours of your tour. Áldu AS has no control over the exchange rate that will be calculated for refunds to credit cards and is not responsible for any loss incurred. Please note that Áldu AS does not pay any bank fees incurred for international transfers, and that such fees are deducted from the amount to be refunded.

Cancellations or remarkable changes from our side

If the tour is cancelled from our side and if you do not accept the alternative provided, we will provide a 100% refund. However, in the interests of ensuring the best possible experience for you, we reserve the right to make minor adjustments due to weather, snow conditions etc.

Cancellations due to Force Majure

Cancellations or remarkable changes may occur due to:

- conditions that are beyond our control / Force majure, e.g. weather, accidents/breakdowns, strikes etc. In case this occures, we don’t provide any refund. Please check with your personal travel insurance.

Personal travel insurance/Cancellation protection

Check your travel insurance coverage concerning damages. We recommend all our guests to ensure they have good insurance before starting their trip in case of illness, accident, liability, flight cancellations, lost luggage etc.

Changes in prices

Áldu AS reserves the right to correct any possible pricing errors. VAT shall be charged in accordance with the current taxation regulations.

Disputes

The terms are binding for both parties after the customer has confirmed the booking by e-mail, or made the payment stated in the terms of contract. The law governing these terms is Norwegian law. If any possible disagreements cannot be resolved by negotiation, they shall be resolved in «Indre- og Østre Finnmark Tingrett», 9845 Tana, Norway.
